Dolphins walk the walk…. all over the NY Jets in a 30-9 showdown on Sunday. After losing Rookie Quarterback Ryan Tannehill to a hyperextended knee and thigh bruise with 10:09 remaining in the first quarter, the Miami Dolphins went on to attain a 30 – 9 victory over the Jets with the help of backup QB Matt Moore. Moore ended the game with a touchdown completing 11 of 19 passes for 131 yards with a passer rating of 96.6.
The Dolphins victory over the Jets only adds insult to injury as Running Back Reggie Bush has been engaged in a heated exchange with some Jets players after commenting that “what goes around comes around,” implying that Cornerback Darrell Revis’ deserved a season ending injury. Jets players were supposedly out to get Reggie Bush on Sunday’s game with the LaRon Landry reportedly saying “every time he sees me, he will remember that hit,” referring to a second quarter knee injury that Reggie sustained in their first meeting. Jets coach Rex Ryan has also called for “hot sauce” to be poured on Bush. These harsh remarks did not stop Bush or the Dolphins as they defeated the Jets in an ego bruising win and walking away from Sunday’s game with the last laugh.
